Kae Sugihara


Born in Ibaraki, Japan, Kae Sugihara began playing the violin at the age of five and graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae with a Bachelor of Music degree. At the age of 14, she won the second prize in the B section of the Jugend Musiziert Muenchen. He was selected for the 9th “Nagae Cup” Music Competition, University Division, and the 9th Japan Performers’ Competition, Strings and University Division.
She has studied violin with Toyomi Suzuki, Hiroshi Nishida, and Kurt Guntner, chamber music with Zsolt Tibai, and duet technique with Chitose Koike. She is a graduate of the Amphini Studio.
