BIOGRAPHY

Launched in March 2011 as Japan’s only commercial orchestra operated by a music production company, the group is under the guidance of ongaq, who is active in a wide range of fields including TV, movies, and games, and is equipped with skills required not only in performance techniques but also in all recording fields, including coordination with images and the accuracy required for game music. The group has the skills required not only in performance techniques but also in all recording fields. In addition to music for visual content such as commercials, games, animation, and movies in Japan and abroad, the group has performed on stage and at many events.

In 2016 and 2019, they will perform overseas in Asian countries. In Japan, they will release a game music soundtrack “BEMANI SYMPHONY” in 2021 and hold live concerts online and offline in 2022.

In 2019, the orchestra will enter into a partnership with audio equipment manufacturer SHURE as an official supporter, and in 2022, it will establish a partnership with German carbon instrument manufacturer Mezzoforte to become the world’s first orchestra organization to endorse the company’s carbon instruments. The orchestra is now developing.

TaQ Sakakibara(Founder | Executive Producer)

TaQ Sakakibara is a composer, music director, producer, and founder of the group, who established himself as an electronica composer with KONAMI's beatmania IIDX series" and has since been involved in a wide range of content productions including movies, dramas, advertising, and motor shows. He is currently the music director of the official creative team of the Volkswagen Group in Germany. Specializing in branding creativity, he is active in various domestic and international projects.

Yusaku Tsuchiya(Music Director)

Music Director, composer, and orchestrator, known as a violinist who skillfully manipulates the 5-string violin and specializes in collaborations with Japanese musical instruments. He is active in a wide range of activities in Japan and abroad, from content creation to theater and stage performances, armed with creativity based on his numerous stage experiences.
